Wolfgang Faigle graduated and received his PhD in chemistry. His professional career includes scientific journalism and work for several state agencies and authorities, including the Ministry for the Environment of the German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg. He joined Stuttgart Media University in 1991 as a professor for chemistry, materials science, environmental protection, and health and safety at work; currently he is Vice Rector for Research and International Relations. Since 2006, he is the president of the International Circle of Educational Institutes for the Graphic Arts: Technology and Management (IC).
Wolfgang Faigle was elected as the member of the Board in Septembr 2010.
